We were invited to participate in Kia Quirino’s Family Service event last Saturday, February 15, 2014. This initiative is to provide after-sales support to Kia owners, especially to whose vehicles are within the lengthy 5-year warranty coverage.
The event was held right at their dealership in Quirino Ave. Extn., Paco Manila. The major draw is the complete casa-standard check-up of one’s vehicle and the giveaway of selected PMS items for 2009-up vehicles. A variety of vehicles and Kia users showed up to avail these, from Rio taxis to well-off Optima and Sorento owners. Members of the enthusiast group Kia Auto Club Pilipinas were also invited to participate.
The sales floor was chock-full of various activities for all members of the family to participate in, such as arcade games, food stalls, temporary tattoo parlor, and test drives of new Kia vehicles. We had our fill of Daytona USA and french fries, and drove the new Sportage fitted with its powerful CRDi engine.
Our 2011 Kia Carens was checked with the casa diagnostic device, received a new set of air and aircon filters, inspected for brake pad condition, and even had a car wash to boot. Our car was given the all-clear, which wasn’t a surprise to us given the car is well-made and despite the Kia tagline “The Power to Surprise”. We had no surprises in the negative as of yet, fortunately.
Kia Quirino is under the Autocirculo Corp. umbrella, which operates a network of Kia and Peugeot dealerships, nationwide. We like to thank Kia Motors Philippines for having such an initiative for its customers, Kia Quirino for having us, and Francis Casim of Kia South Triangle for having invited us.
Check out some of our pictures of the event after the jump.
